[Title] Yodel is as yodel does

[Abstract] In this session Prof. Hutchinson will discuss her experiences with Urban Yodeling, a Berlin-based yodel choir, as well as her early-stage research on this group and its connections to other cosmopolitan yodelers. Through listening and doing we’ll investigate relationships between yodeling, environment, and identities while also confronting our own perceptions of yodeling and the broken voice.
